The Shilla Monogram has those upscale vibes, high-end pool club. Lush, comfortable loungers ideal for napping, opulent cabanas and an adult-only infinity pool on the beach create an atmosphere that was very much las-vegas-upscale-adult-pool.
Cost: 350,000 VND/adult and 175,000 VND/child

Eat & Drink: Ordering was convenient, and available on your phone. Scan the QR code, choose menu item and food arrived directly to our loungers. You can pay after the food and drinks arrive, or start a tab. The poolside menu was standout, fantastic. We had the rigatoni which I’m pretty sure was from the Little Monogram menu - and it was creamy, delicious and bang-on. We couldn’t skip the featured novelty drinks, delivered in a pineapple for the vibes - also delicious. Fresh, like a take on a mojito, it was refreshing and we would order it again - and again.
Amenities: toddler splash pool with white-sand sandbox, family pool and adult only pool
Vibe: Very comfortable loungers and cabanas. Mix of families and influencers.
Shilla Monogram day-pass includes access to the pools, beach, kids club and sauna. The pool is uniform depth, and has an island to swim around within it. Don’t skip the sauna! The nude-friendly space includes sauna, cold plunge and hot pool. Though there were a few families on-site, this pool was giving adult getaway. We would return again for the day, or an overnight stay - without children. That being said, if you do bring your kids, resort staff were lovely with providing pool float toys, and the sandbox and splash pool clearly has children in mind.
Best in Hoi An:
New World Hoiana Beach Resort Splash & Play Day Pass
New World Hoiana Beach Resort is a big kid-favourite around here. It’s our go-to for special holiday celebrations and quick trips to visit The Commons - the lobby bar with an incredible selection of lifelike fruit pastries.
Cost: Packages start at 1,200,000 VND
No resort credit included, but packages include a bottle of Prosecco, ice cream and a fruit tray
Eat & Drink: You can find a range of food and drink here with more than 20+ restaurants on-site. The Cove, near the main pool and kids club, is a sure bet. Food prices are as expected at a resort of this level.
Amenities: splash pools, kids club with waterslides and playground, family pools, foam party, in-water lounge chairs
Vibe: Like an all-inclusive resort with multiple pools, an incredible kids club and foam parties Friday to Sunday

Best for Brunch and Adventure:
Sheraton Grand Da Nang Resort Day Pass
If you’re looking for the best kid-friendly resort pool pass for the day out near Hoi An or Da Nang - it’s Sheraton Grand Da Nang. The pool is massive, at 250-meters and ends beachside at the sand with an infinity view. The shallow depth makes it an stress-free experience for parents, and there is plenty for the kids to explore as they run between the shaded playground, splash park and pool.
Cost: 550,000 VND/person with 450,000 VND resort credit or complimentary access to the pool/beach with purchase of brunch buffet (500,000 VND/adults and 250,000/children)
Eat & Drink: We tried most items on the food menu, poolside and though good it wasn’t stand-out-good. The brunch buffet is a great value, with egg orders, hot food station, fresh juices, impressive dessert selection. You won’t leave hungry!
Amenities: 250 m pool, kids playground, kids club and beach access, in-water lounge chairs, watersport rentals, splash playground
Vibe: Family-friendly, comfortable
Expect your kids to want to rent a paddle board or kayak (280,000 VND/hour) to paddle the length of the 250m pool. It’s long! Spanning from the hotel to the water’s edge at the infinity pool, it’s a hotspot for families because of the long pool, shallow depth and paddling toys that they can take from one side to the other. This favourite pool is only going to be more popular when you realize the brunch buffet, served daily between 6:30 a.m. and 11:00 a.m comes with full-day pool access.
Best for (Little Kids) Adventure:
Hyatt Regency Da Nang Resort Vive Oceane Day Pass
Plan your day pass visit here for the Wibit inflatable obstacle course at Camp Hyatt (the kids club) and enjoy all the beach and pool amenities included. Grab a cabana (minimum spend of 1,200,000 VND required). Save this one for the younger crowd of kids, it’s a smaller-scale Wibit designed for younger children.
Cost: 700,000 VND/adult 350,000 VND/child with 600,000 VND/adult and 250,000 VND/child resort credit
Eat & Drink: Use your resort credit at the Vive Oceane poolside menu. Kid favourites include the: crispy chicken bao buns and the slushy selection of zero-proof mocktails. For the fussiest of children, there’s always French fries (110,000 VND)
Amenities: Camp Hyatt Kids Club, pool access and beach activities, towels. Splash park, playground and green space.
